I am always amazed at the beautiful bits & pieces that come home with my children from school and daycare. The teachers and carers go to so much effort and they don’t just pull on our heart-strings, they wage a full tug-of-war! Yesterday, I was brought to tears by the simplest of things…my son gave me a brown paper bag filled with very random, everyday items. However, the note that accompanied them was so precious and amusing I had to share it with you.
A Mother’s Day pack just for you, Mum.
- A pencil – because you colour my day
- A Smartie – because you are so smart and always know what to do
- A rubber band – to remind you that you need to be flexible!
- A paperclip – because you know how to hold everything together
- A marble – for when you lose yours
- Googly eyes – for when you need eyes in the back of your head
- A Band Aid – for when things go a little wrong
- A chocolate heart – to remind you that I love you.
From everyone here at Alex&Ant we hope you all had a very special day.
Fleur x
