Twice a year, anyone who is anyone in the design world heads to Paris’s Maison & Objet to seek out the latest in the way of design trends. The fair is a melting pot of all the best established brands and upcoming new designers showcasing their latest collections.
Pink in all its forms and tones was the hottest colour at Maison & Objet this January. It swept through the entire fair with unpredictable intensity in bright through to nude hues. Cue the Spring 2017 fashion runways and pink was omnipresent. From toned-down pastels to electrified berry tones, pink showed up at Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Gucci, Emilio Pucci, Celine, Prada, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and dozens more.
Now we don't take trends too seriously at Alex & Ant, but femininity and optimism is ever present in our collections. It's not about defining gender, it's about popping on some rose-coloured glasses and loving life! Enjoy our pink perfection.
